Hahnemühle Photorag Paper
The matt finish of Hahnemüle Photorag is one of the most popular papers amongst artists, illustrators & photographers alike. This paper brings out the very best of the colours, highlighting each variation in colour, combined with an exquisite detail in hue and density. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. The paper has a delicate surface, so we recommend extra care when handling. Photorag is suitable for mounting but its cotton texture means edges can fray if not carefully handled.
Photo Rag® is one of the most famous fine art papers in the world. With a smooth, very slightly textured surface, this ‘natural white' (i.e slightly warm 'ivory' coloured) paper is made from 100% cotton rag and is highly resistant to discolouration with age. It provides excellent image sharpness with optimum colour and B&W gradation. Ideal for bringing out subtlety in an image, it also deckles (tears) beautifully for those who want the appearance of a hand-made paper. We print on the heavier 308 gsm paper.
